Keyboard shortcuts

Keep this reference beside Terrain Studio while you work. These are the shortcuts currently implemented in the app; commands still follow their usual project and availability rules.

App shortcuts do not run while you are typing in a text field or while a dialog is open. Text fields retain their normal editing shortcuts. Browser and operating-system shortcuts can take precedence.

Move between tabsFocus the Home/project row or Layout/Sketch/Build row first. Arrow keys select and activate a tab in that row.

Project context menuFocus the project tab. Escape closes the menu and returns focus.

Sketch

Finish the current drawing actionWhile drawing a contour or path. A line needs enough points to be saved.

Enter

Cancel the current drawing actionCancels the active line, insertion or point move; existing saved sketch content remains.

Resize the Sketch sidebarFocus its vertical divider. Shift uses a larger step.
